This role plays a critical part in supporting the company’s mission of saving water and protecting the environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the operation and maintenance of our wastewater treatment processes, collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient and environmentally responsible practices. This role is an mid-level role for individuals looking to start a career in environmental services and wastewater management.<br><br><strong>Essential Job Functions<br><br></strong><ul><li>Assist in monitoring and controlling wastewater treatment processes, including screening, sedimentation, filtration, controlling pH and polymer dosing and disinfection. </li><li>Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of treatment equipment, pumps, and tanks. </li><li>Record operational data, maintain logs, and prepare accurate reports as required. </li><li>Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot, and if necessary, assist to repair equipment and process issues. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. </li><li>Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in wastewater treatment operations. </li><li>Monitor and operate pumps, valves, DAF, screeners, cake disposal and other equipment to control the flow and treatment of wastewater. </li><li>Adjust chemical feed rates and other controls to ensure proper treatment processes, under the direction of the Lead or Technician II.
