We're hiring a Virtual Personal Stylist to help people find that, one outfit and one conversation at a time. The Basics This is a fully remote role paying $92,500 a year. You'll work with clients over video calls, building outfits, organizing closets, and putting together looks that actually fit their real lives — not just a mood board. What Fills Your Day Every client walks in with a different story. Someone updating their wardrobe before a big trip. Someone nervous about dressing for a new hybrid office job. Someone standing in front of a closet that feels unusable and needs help sorting what's actually worth keeping. Running one-on-one virtual styling sessions to build outfits around a client's goals and lifestyle Curating seasonal wardrobe updates and trend-informed recommendations that stay realistic on budget Guiding closet organization sessions — what to keep, what to donate, what to rework Sending personalized outfit suggestions between sessions for specific occasions Mixing pieces a client already owns with a handful of smart new additions, rather than pushing a full wardrobe overhaul Building mood boards and lookbooks that help clients visualize an outfit before they try it on What You'll Need Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Experience: At least 1 year of personal styling, fashion consulting, or related retail styling experience A genuine eye for putting pieces together in ways that feel intentional, not random Comfort with digital tools — mood board platforms, shopping links, video calls Strong listening skills; a request for "a new look" is often really about something else Clear communication, since you're often describing an outfit before a client can see it Enough organization to manage a rotating client schedule without letting details slip Where Experience Helps Formal training or certification in fashion styling or image consulting Experience styling for specific occasions — interviews, weddings, career transitions Familiarity with digital closet or wardrobe-tracking apps A portfolio showing range across different budgets and personal styles What a Real Session Looks Like A client gets promoted and says she doesn't feel like she "looks the part" yet. Instead of sending her out to buy an entirely new wardrobe, a good stylist starts with what's already in the closet — reworking a blazer here, suggesting a different pairing there — and finds three or four looks that genuinely work. The goal usually isn't a shopping spree. It's helping someone see what they already have differently. Eligibility This role is open to candidates in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, EU member states, Australia, and India, as well as a number of other approved regions.
