Transformation Strategist (US Based - Remote)
About Duvo
Before Duvo, our founders built and ran a $2 billion retailer. They saw how much critical work still depended on spreadsheets, inboxes, supplier portals and the memory of experienced operators. The real process rarely lived in one system. People held the last mile together.
Duvo is building the Enterprise Execution OS: the shared layer that understands how work really runs, carries it across existing systems and measures the business result.
Our agents do the work, not just suggest the next step. They gather evidence, make decisions within agreed rules, route exceptions to the right person and update the source system. People keep control wherever judgment or approval is needed. Every action leaves an audit trail.
We start with one recurring process and a clear outcome. Every solution carries a contracted 5x ROI guarantee.
The role
As a Transformation Strategist, you will own the day-to-day momentum of an enterprise transformation.
You will partner with a Senior Transformation Strategist and Forward Deployed Engineers on a small number of live enterprise accounts. You will be the person who is consistently present with the customer: close to how work happens, accountable for the workstream cadence and able to turn a senior steer into analysis, decisions, materials and change that move the work forward.
The Senior Transformation Strategist owns the executive relationship, overall transformation direction and commercial outcome. You own the operating rhythm and quality of execution, escalating early when a senior decision or intervention is required.
This is a hands-on consulting role for someone early enough in their career to enjoy getting deep into the work, but strong enough to earn trust in a customer room. We are particularly interested in people currently operating from Consultant/Associate through Project Leader/Engagement Manager level at McKinsey, BCG or Bain, typically with around 3-5 years of client-facing consulting experience. You do not need prior operator experience.
What you will do
1. Own the workstream fact base
Get close to the process: interviews, data, handoffs, exceptions and the workarounds people use to keep things running. Build a fact base that shows where cost, cash, service, cycle time or control is being lost.
Turn that work into sharp analyses, decision documents and slides that make the important choices obvious. Be exact about the baseline, assumptions and evidence; do not use presentation polish to hide uncertainty. The materials are a means to a decision and an action, not the output in themselves.
2. Run the day-to-day delivery rhythm
Work with the Senior Transformation Strategist to turn a diagnostic into a practical roadmap: what starts now, what waits, which decisions an agent can make, which controls stay and who needs to own each step.
Run the weekly operating cadence with customer teams: prepare working sessions, maintain actions and decisions, follow commitments through and surface blockers early. Make sure the new process is clear enough for people to use. Work side by side with Forward Deployed Engineers as the solution moves into the live operation, keeping business needs, technical delivery and customer adoption joined up.
3. Build the evidence for impact
Help lock the baseline, target and measurement window before implementation. Track progress, investigate misses and turn the result into evidence a CFO and an operating team can trust.
You will not be asked to own commercial negotiations or the most senior stakeholder relationship alone. You will be expected to build the analysis, materials and follow-through that make those conversations productive-and to own relationships with the customer team at the working level.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a capable, client-facing consultant who wants to do more than recommend a change. We will assess five things:
- Strong consulting foundations. You are currently operating from Consultant/Associate through Project Leader/Engagement Manager level at McKinsey, BCG or Bain, typically with around 3-5 years of core, client-facing consulting experience. You can structure an unfamiliar problem, find the critical question and make a clear recommendation.
- Excellent analytical and communication craft. You are comfortable working from messy data and incomplete information. You build analyses and slides that are concise, numerate and decision-ready.
- Bias for delivery and ownership. You want to stay close to the work after the deck is finished. You can run a reliable customer cadence, follow through on actions, notice what is not working and help fix it.
- Customer judgment. You can listen well, ask a direct question and communicate clearly with people at different levels of an organization. You know when to ask for help rather than bluff.
- Early-stage working style. You work well without a large team or a polished playbook. You use AI seriously in your own work, write clearly and take responsibility for the quality of what you put in front of a customer.
Early-stage company experience is helpful, whether through a role, internship, founding project or close work with a startup. It is not required. Experience in retail, CPG, supply chain, logistics, inventory or finance operations is also helpful, but not required.
What good looks like after 12 months
- You are the trusted day-to-day owner of defined workstreams across several enterprise accounts, with a clear view of each account's transformation hypothesis, evidence base, risks and next decision.
- Your analyses and customer materials help teams make better decisions quickly, and your cadence means commitments do not disappear between meetings.
- You have helped take at least one process from diagnosis through live delivery, with a measured view of whether it is working.
- You have made Duvo's playbook more reusable through better templates, diagnostics, measurement methods or delivery habits.
- You only enjoy the framing phase and lose interest once the work becomes detailed.
- You need perfectly clean data, a large analyst team or complete instructions before you can make progress.
- You see slides as the final product rather than a tool to help a customer make and execute a decision.
- You want only internal analysis work and do not want visible, day-to-day accountability with a customer team.
- You prefer to stay far from the day-to-day work of the people whose process is changing.
- You want a narrow role with little customer exposure or visible accountability.
- Own it. The bar is not "I flagged it." It is "I moved it forward." An 80% fix today often beats a perfect answer next week.
- Stay close to the customer. Know their real day better than the process document. If they ask us to automate something broken, show them a better way.
- Prove it and say it straight. Measure before you propose. Share bad news when you have it. Strong opinions are welcome; defending them after the evidence changes is not.
- Use AI and work in public. We use AI on our own work and remain responsible for the output. We write things down in English so someone who missed the meeting can still follow.
- Bring intensity and judgment. A good answer can still lose if it arrives too late. The pace is high because the team is small and the customer work is live. Commitment comes from the work, not monitoring or guilt.
This role is remote across the United States. Expect regular domestic travel and periods of working on site with customers for several days in a week when projects are live.
What we offer
- Compensation: total on-target compensation (base salary plus target bonus) of $180,000-$220,000.
- Meaningful equity, with flexibility in the balance between cash and ownership.
- US benefits: a 401(k) with a 5% company match; flexible company-funded support for medical, dental and vision coverage, with plan choice and the option to cover dependents.
- Time off and equipment: unlimited PTO plus local public holidays, company-provided equipment and home-office support.
- Learning and AI budget: a learning budget and an effectively unlimited budget for AI tools.
- Benefit details and eligibility may vary by location and employment arrangement. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
- Direct access to founders, customers and decisions.
- A product already producing measured results in live enterprise operations.
- The chance to build a career at the intersection of consulting, operations and AI-led transformation.
- Competency interview. A detailed look at how you structured a difficult problem, worked with a client team and drove the work forward.
- Live case. An enterprise problem that tests structure, numbers, prioritization and clear communication.
- Founder conversation. A candid discussion about the role, Duvo and whether this is the environment for you.
We move quickly and give direct feedback throughout.
