Description We are seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the development of XR applications for teleoperating Fauna robots. You will work at the intersection of XR engineering and real-time robotics, writing the code that drives the backend of our XR application, from full-body pose projection, operator calibration and telemetry, to the performance and optimization that keeps the teleoperator and the robot in sync. Your decisions will directly shape how operators and data collectors experience the robot from inside the headset. You will design for the extremes—ensuring a flawless, low-latency experience despite unpredictable real-world network conditions, and implement improvements to tracking, robot communication, and ergonomic and UX challenges characteristic to prolonged XR wear.
