What You'll Do
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-precision plastic injection molding equipment for sealing, bonding, and closure assembly (e.g., battery casings, vehicle panels)
- Conduct closure integrity tests (pressure testing, leak detection, visual inspections) and collaborate with engineers to resolve defects or process inefficiencies
- Monitor, document, and optimize closure parameters (torque, sealant application, alignment tolerances) while ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Execute setup, verification, and shutdown procedures, including mold/EOAT checks, equipment homing, water leak verification, and conveyor/rack readiness
- Perform routine maintenance tasks (purging, IMM system activation, rack/mold changes) and maintain a safe, clean workspace to prevent defects
