Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.</p><p>Labcorp is seeking a remote Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team!</p><h2>Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (EST)</h2><h2></h2><h2>Job Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li><h2>Process/post AR from all assigned payers within the expected Turnaround Time</h2></li><li><h2>Post AR and electronic remittance from private and government payers into the billing system.</h2></li><li><h2>Research payer websites to obtain posting backup</h2></li><li><h2>Post electronic reports, macros and tools to balance files with money received</h2></li><li><h2>Identify issues and trends with assigned payers</h2></li><li><h2>Ensure aged accounts receivable is handled according to Standard Operating Procedure</h2></li><li><h2>Communicate with leadership and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of remittance</h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></h2><ul><li><h2>High School Diploma or GED equivalent</h2></li><li><h2>1 year or more accounts receivable experience </h2></li><li><h2>1 year or more MS Excel experience </h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></h2><ul><li><h2>1 year or more health insurance, medical claims, explanation of benefits, cash posting and billing</h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Additional Job Standards:</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Meet weekly and monthly production goals after training</h2></li><li><h2>Work experience in an office setting or administration</h2></li><li><h2>Manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity</h2></li><li><h2>Strong communication skills</h2></li><li><h2>Work-from-home or in-office experience</h2></li></ul><br /><p><b>Application Window closes: 9/25/2026</b></p><p><b>Pay Range: $17.75-$21.00 </b></p><p>All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. </p><br /><p>At Labcorp, you are part of a journey to accelerate life-changing healthcare breakthroughs and improve the delivery of care for all. Responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to processing a high volume of transfers, adjustments/refunds, research, and communications while maintaining department standards and quality expectations. Supports inventories and reports variances of possible concern. Follows department standard operating procedures for all processes.
